We’re excited to celebrate Spirit Week from December 9th–12th! This is always a fun and festive way for our students to come together, show their creativity, and enjoy a little holiday cheer before break. Each day has its own theme, and we encourage everyone to participate and make the week memorable!
✨ Tuesday – Merry & Bright Day
Let’s kick things off with COLOR! Students are invited to wear their brightest holiday colors—red, green, gold, sparkles, anything cheerful and festive.
❄️ Wednesday – Holiday Twins Day
Grab a friend (or a staff member!) and dress alike in your favorite holiday attire. A great way to show school spirit with classmates!
🎁 Thursday – You Are a Gift Day
Students can dress like a present—bows, ribbons, bags, wrapping paper, and more. This day is all about creativity and imagination!
💚 Friday – Let’s Get Grinchy
Wear green or dress as your favorite character from How the Grinch Stole Christmas! A fun way to end our spirited week.
We can’t wait to see all of the festive outfits and student creativity throughout the week. Thank you for helping us make this a joyful and spirited time for our school community!

This week, we celebrated our students’ hard work and dedication during our Proficiency Awards Assembly! 🎉
We recognized students who demonstrated proficiency in Math, English, and Science, as well as those who showed the most improvement in these subjects. We are so proud of their growth and commitment to learning!
Award recipients also had the special opportunity to add their names to our Wall of Fame, a proud reminder of their achievements. 🌟
Great job, students! Keep up the amazing work! 👏

A big thank you to our wonderful 3rd graders from Mrs. Rogers’ class for helping the front office get into the holiday spirit!

Dear Families,
Our PTO Food Drive is coming to an end, and Friday, November 21st is the last day to bring in donations. Every item collected helps support families in our community who may be facing food insecurity, ensuring they have access to meals during the holiday season and beyond. Food drives make a meaningful difference by bringing our school community together to help those in need.
As a fun incentive, the grade level with the most donations will win a pizza party! 🍕
Thank you for your generosity and for helping us make a positive impact!

Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving lunch for students. Unfortunately, we are unable to sell lunch to parents this year. However, you are welcome to come and visit with your student during their lunchtime.
We apologize for this change and appreciate your understanding and support.
Warm regards,
Tartesso Elementary School

🩸 Blood Drive – Happening Today! (November 13th, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM) 🩸
Our community Blood Drive is happening right now here at the school! There’s still time to make a difference. We have open appointments available for those who would like to donate.
Donating blood is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to help others. It can truly save lives. Every donation can help up to three people in need. Blood donations support:
Accident victims and trauma patients during emergencies
Cancer patients receiving chemotherapy treatments
Children and adults undergoing surgeries or living with blood disorders
Your generous donation can make all the difference for someone’s parent, child, or friend. We invite families, staff, and community members to join us for this life-saving event.
Let’s come together and make an impact, because when we give blood, we give hope. 💖
For more information or to check availability, please contact the school office.
