At Tartesso Elementary School, we have high expectations and goals. The pride we have in our children and our community guides us through each day as we maintain strong beliefs and reach our lofty goals. We firmly believe that ALL children are capable of success, NO exceptions!

Our School

Tartesso Elementary School, located in Buckeye, Arizona, serves over 350 students in Maricopa County. Our student classes range from kindergarten through fifth grade. We are part of the Saddle Mountain Unified School District, which is located in Tonopah, Arizona. We serve three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.

Tonopah, Arizona, is a small community located near Buckeye and just west of Phoenix. Our friendly communities support student learning and work to help our schools achieve their goals.

Four Day School Week (Tuesday–Friday)

Kindergarten–5th Grade 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Tartesso STC 6:40 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.
Extended Resource 6:40 a.m. – 2:24 p.m.
Preschool
Session 1 7:00 a.m. – 9:05 a.m.
Session 2 9:05 a.m. – 11:10 a.m.
Session 3 11:45 a.m. – 1:50 p.m.

Early Release Day Schedule
7:00–11:15 a.m.

Before-School Supervision
Please do not drop of your child off before 6:45 a.m. We cannot provide supervision until that time.

Breakfast
Breakfast is in the classroom from 6:45 to 7:00 a.m. If your children would like to eat free breakfast at school, please have them arrive at 6:45 a.m. School starts at 7:00 a.m.
