Dear Families,
Our PTO Food Drive is coming to an end, and Friday, November 21st is the last day to bring in donations. Every item collected helps support families in our community who may be facing food insecurity, ensuring they have access to meals during the holiday season and beyond. Food drives make a meaningful difference by bringing our school community together to help those in need.
As a fun incentive, the grade level with the most donations will win a pizza party! 🍕
Thank you for your generosity and for helping us make a positive impact!

Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving lunch for students. Unfortunately, we are unable to sell lunch to parents this year. However, you are welcome to come and visit with your student during their lunchtime.
We apologize for this change and appreciate your understanding and support.
Warm regards,
Tartesso Elementary School

We’re proud of our school community for coming together to recognize such an important moment in history!#RubyBridgesWalk #RubyBridges #UnityInEducation #StrongerTogether #HistoryInTheMaking #SchoolCommunity

🩸 Blood Drive – Happening Today! (November 13th, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM) 🩸
Our community Blood Drive is happening right now here at the school! There’s still time to make a difference. We have open appointments available for those who would like to donate.
Donating blood is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to help others. It can truly save lives. Every donation can help up to three people in need. Blood donations support:
Accident victims and trauma patients during emergencies
Cancer patients receiving chemotherapy treatments
Children and adults undergoing surgeries or living with blood disorders
Your generous donation can make all the difference for someone’s parent, child, or friend. We invite families, staff, and community members to join us for this life-saving event.
Let’s come together and make an impact, because when we give blood, we give hope. 💖
For more information or to check availability, please contact the school office.

There will be no school on Monday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day. We want to take a moment to thank all of our veterans and active military members for their service and sacrifice. We are grateful for all you do to protect our freedom.
We wish everyone a fun and safe holiday weekend!

We were honored to recognize Tartesso’s own active-duty members and military veterans for their service and sacrifice. Our Student Council led the ceremony, with students from different grades sharing heartfelt letters of appreciation to our heroes.
Those able to join us today received certificates of gratitude, and the celebration concluded with a special performance from our principal, Dr. Scales, and our 4th graders from Mr. Mueller’s class. 🎶✨
Thank you to all who serve and have served. We appreciate you!
