Tuesday–Friday: 2nd–5th Grade Benchmark Testing

Our 2nd–5th grade students will be participating in benchmark testing Tuesday through Friday. We want to set them up for success!

Please help your student do their very best by:

Making sure they get a good night’s sleep

Providing a healthy breakfast each morning

Ensuring they arrive at school on time

The SMUSD VEX IQ teams traveled to Mesa on Saturday for their last tournament of the regular season. All three teams had a great day with WWES moving into the 5th place spot in the AZ robot skills ranking, DSES moved into 11th place, and TES ended up winning 2nd place in the tournament. All three teams have received an invite to the AZ State Finals for the first time in SMUSD Robotics history. Congrats to all three teams and their coaches.

Today, our staff and students came together to surprise and decorate our amazing school counselor, Mrs. Williams, in celebration of School Counselor Appreciation Week! 💙✨
